Use the Set Content Match Ad Group Bids page to assign bids to one or more Content Match ad groups. Your Content Match ad group bid is the maximum amount you are willing to pay each time your Content Match ad is clicked.
When you set your Content Match ad group bids, you can either set them to a specific amount of your choice or set them to the minimum amount required for the corresponding ad groups to remain active.
To set Content Match ad group bids to a specific amount:
Click the Campaigns tab and then the Ad Groups subtab. The Ad Groups page opens.
Click the checkboxes that correspond to the Content Match ad groups you would like to update.
Click the Set CM Bids button. The Set Content Match Ad Group Bids page opens.
In the New Bid text boxes for each of the ad groups you want to update, type the new bid amounts you want to use.
Note: The down arrow button next to the text box for the first ad group applies mass changes using the same bid amount. When you click the button, all ad groups on the page are automatically updated to the same bid as the first ad group.
Click the Save Changes button.
To set Content Match ad group bids to the minimum required amount:
Click the Campaigns tab and then the Ad Groups subtab. The Ad Groups page opens.
Click the checkboxes that correspond to the Content Match ad groups you would like to update.
Click the Set CM Bids button. The Set Content Match Ad Group Bids page opens.
Click the checkboxes that correspond to the ad groups you want to update.
Click the Set CM Bids to Minimum button. The New Bid text boxes are updated with the minimum required amount.
Click the Save Changes button.
If you want to delete one or more of your Content Match ad groups, you can do so from the Set Content Match Ad Group Bids page (you can also delete ad groups from the Ad Groups page).
To delete ad groups from the Content Match Ad Group Bids page:
Click the checkboxes that correspond to the ad groups you want to delete.
Click the Delete button.
When you are prompted to confirm the deletion, click the Yes button.
