Confirm Tune-up

The Confirm Tune-up page asks for your final approval to run tune-up.

Initiating or Cancelling the Tune-up Process

Once you’ve defined tune-up guidelines (workflow step #2), you need to approve running tune-up by initiating the process (workflow step #3).

To initiate tune-up

In the Confirm Tune-up page, click Start Tune-up.

You can check that the tune-up is in progress by going to the Campaign details page. Look for the Tune-up in Progress label above the ad groups list.

To cancel tune-up

Move off the page by doing one of the following:

  • Click any command on the Campaigns tab.

  • Click another tab.

What You Can Do While Tune-up is in Progress

Tune-up runs in the background. Once started, you can begin activities on other campaigns. However, we recommend that you don’t change the campaign undergoing tune-up. That’s because tune-up takes a snapshot of your campaign at start-up, and bases its analysis on settings and performance history as of that time. For best results, wait until after you decide whether to accept or reject the forthcoming tune-up proposal before making any additional changes to your campaign.

Determining When Tune-up is Finished

You’ll know tune-up has generated a proposal these ways:

  • You receive an alert that explains the proposal is complete along with a link to display the proposal.

  • In the Campaign details page, you’ll see the View Tune-up Proposal link above the ad groups list.

Important: We recommend reviewing the proposal and making the decision whether or not to apply it to your campaign as soon as possible. The proposed updates are most effective the sooner you apply them after tune-up finishes.
