This 12-month study completed by Compete Inc. clearly demonstrates that online is the wireless industry’s largest and strongest point of contact with consumers. At least 23.9 million shoppers a year search online for wireless service, representing 75% of all wireless consumers and more than $12.6 billion in potential annual service revenue. These customers also state that search is the media source that influenced their purchase the most, higher than TV, radio or print ads.
