Analytics

The Analytics page allows you to put tags—snippets of HTML code—on your web site to track the conversions generated from your Sponsored Search and Content Match ads. To access the Analytics page, go to the Administration tab and select Analytics.

  1. First, click “Enable Analytics” to display the tag settings.1

  2. Click to enlarge

  3. Once you select this, you will be able to activate Conversion Only Analytics on your site.2
  4. You can also set a revenue value to be associated with each conversion. You can select from two types of revenue values:
    • Constant Average Value: Specify a fixed revenue value to be used with each conversion. For example, if you offer leads only, and a lead is worth $15, you would insert $15.
    • Dynamic Value: Dynamically update the revenue amount for each transaction completed on your web site. For example, if you are an online retailer and offer various products, the dynamic value will capture each value you sell.
  5. Finally, copy the text of the tag below and paste it into the code on the transaction completion page of your web site in order to record when a conversion occurs. The number of conversions, along with any revenue, will be available in the Campaigns and Reports sections of your account.

1 For those who have installed the Conversion Counter tag previously, we encourage you to replace it with the new conversion only tag.
